The much hyped Kannada film because the protagonist is Nikil Kumaraswamy, son of Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy has hit the stands with the result ‘Action Feast’ in a nutshell.

A Harsha handling Nikil Kumaraswamy has not taken any risk. He has picked the mistaken identity issue of two ‘Shankars’ in the film (Sarath Kumar and Dr Sanjay Kapoor) and laced it with people issue of water for drought hit areas, action and family sentiment. Comedy of course at regular interval has worked out.

Arya is a strong man with nerves of steel. He can take on anyone with his fist power. At regular interval the action masala arrive on silver screen – the count is perhaps six.

Such a dashing youngster Arya is in love with a traditional girl Geetha (Rachita Ram). For Geetha her father is everything. Even for Arya also. He wants to vanish the block spot his father is carrying on his shoulders. In the meantime with his effective thinking set a proposal to the government from NK Construction to build a dam so that some of the drought hit areas live happily with cultivation.

The hurdle is from the opponent side (Jeeva and team) for Arya in construction of dam and his dam good looking heroine is also in ego clash with him. For the same family of his lover Arya has to prove that his father was not wrong. All such development with some inconsequential situations happens in 155 minutes and 23 seconds.

Nikil Kumaraswamy is surely an action hero. No doubt about it. He looks stylish, his dialogue delivery is especially good when he says ‘After saying I love you in 10 seconds, I hate you is told for the first time’ – with Rachita Ram also performing brilliantly.

Sarath Kumar composed acting, Ravishanker controlled acting, Aditya Menon cunning performance plus performance of Jeevan as villain are impressive.

Girija Lokesh, Bhagyasri, Madhubala, Nayana, Jyothi Rai, Savitha, Ravi Bhat….all added good support.

Anoop Reuben two scores are lilting. The color of the film is beautiful because of clever handling in cinematography by Swamy.

This ‘Seetharama Kalyana’ is a strong family action film.
